Summer Workbook that reinforces the key tested Math and English/Language Arts Standards developed during the exiting grade. 

Summer Journal that provides youngsters with opportunities to write for a variety of purposes (expository writing, descriptive writing, persuasive writing). Each writing activity begins with prompts that mirror those found on the state assessments.

Caregiver Guide that lists answers to the Workbook pages. In additions the back of the Guide details very basic activities that any adult could carry out at home to reinforce key academic skills. (A number of administrators have commented that this component will satisfy the NCLB mandate for parent education.)
